We're excited that Abi Robins is back with us, teaching yoga Tuesday mornings at 7am. It's free to members, although donations are welcome.
We asked Abi what it was about yoga at Orange that excites her. Here's what she said…
"Yoga is back at Orange, and I couldn’t be more excited! Obviously, being a yoga instructor, I really love getting to share the tools of yoga with people, but there’s something about teaching in a space like Orange that feels especially meaningful to me.
In our society, our work takes up so much of our time, energy, and mental resources. For those brave enough to take the entrepreneur route, those demands are even higher. I believe that yoga is extremely powerful, not only in recovering from our busy work lives but also in helping us to do our work in ways that we aren’t constantly being pushed into recovery mode. Yoga is more than just an exercise, it has a deep and lasting positive impact on our bodies, minds, and emotions.
But goodness knows it can be a total pain to get to a yoga class, not to mention the hefty price tag for most quality classes here in Austin. In the hustle and bustle of our lives, it quickly becomes another item at the bottom of our to-do list. That’s why I love teaching at Orange. You don’t have to slog through traffic or shell out your last $20 to make yoga part of your weekly routine, plus nothing beats doing yoga with people you already know and love.
So, join me every Tuesday morning at 7am in Satsuma for an hour of yoga to help you start your day and your week off in the right direction. If you’re looking for more ways to incorporate yoga and mindfulness into your life, you can always get in touch with me through my website: www.abirobinsyoga.com
See you Tuesday!"
"The smell of the first batch of coffee brewing paired with a great morning stretch makes for a pretty magical start to the day."
